GREENSBORO, N.C. — No. 23 Averett University men's golf remains in sixth place with senior
Killian O'Reilly in seventh place individually as Tuesday's second round concluded at the 2025 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships.
The Cougars shot 13-over-par on the second day to put them at 23-over for the tournament through 36 holes in the 54-hole tournament on the par-72, 6,970-yard course at Forest Oaks Country Club. No. 8 University of Lynchburg maintained its lead after shooting 2-over on Tuesday. The Hornets are at 1-over for the tournament, giving them an 11-stroke lead over No. 18 Hampden-Sydney College entering Wednesday's final round.

O'Reilly shot an even-par 72 on Tuesday to keep him at 2-over for the tournament, putting him in seventh place. Junior
Miguel Rodriguez Lamana is also in the top 14 at 4-over through Day 2. Freshman
Benjamin Afzelius is four strokes back at 8-over, followed by freshman
Nick Baum at 9-over and junior
Alexander Vidmo at 13-over.
Washington and Lee University's Jonathan McEwen, who is ranked No. 1 in the country, kept his individual lead after shooting a 72 on Tuesday, but his margin shrunk to only four strokes.
