1. Who was your role model to get into coaching?

David: I have three role models. My high school coach, Ken Bianchi, who is one of the leading high school coaches for most wins in Pennsylvania. He's been a guy that has been on my side for a long time and someone that I always talk to and kind of go over things with. And then my college coach, Dave Macedo at Virginia Wesleyan and my assistant coach at Virginia Wesleyan, Jeremy Marks, who now is an AD up in New York. Those guys have played a tremendous part of my career and just helping me stick with it, helping  guide me through tough times and moments where I wasn't sure if I'd keep going down this path of coaching. They are a big part of why I'm still in it today, and I still lean on those guys big time for information and when I have questions about things

2. What is one food you would never eat pregame?

David:  I don't eat really ever,  to be honest with you. I get tired if I load up too much. So I don't usually have a pregame meal. I'm a coffee guy. I'll take a little bit of coffee. But I'm not big on eating before the game. I'm too intense. I think afterwards it takes me about two hours to settle down, then I usually have a nice meal. Sometimes that's at midnight, but it is what it is.

3. Do you have any pets?

David: I have two children. That's enough. With kids that are crazy, I don't need any pets whatsoever.

4. If you weren't coaching, what job would you have?

David: I have no clue to be honest with you. I just, this has kind of been in my blood, you know, from day one. It's what I've always had a knack for, kind of leading and being a guy that, you know, tries to be a great teammate and positive and up and a lot of energy. And it's just kind of what I've always felt I wanted to do. I don't know what I would be doing. I'd probably be broken in a box on a corner somewhere to be honest with you.

5. Which Mario Kart character do you use?

David: I don't play any games like that, okay? We play Madden in our household, okay? So we got Giants football. We play a little Madden. Never played Mario Kart one day in my life to be honest with you.

6. Do you believe in aliens?

David: Absolutely. I think I'd be naive to think that we are the only living beings on any planet.  So I absolutely believe in them. I want them to come down here and stir things up a little bit.

7. You get to add one new rule to your sport. What would it be?

David: I would take rules away. I would get a little bit tougher and more physical like the old school days. I know guys don't like that nowadays, but I think  we've opened up the game  to a point where defense is sometimes frowned upon and I'd just love to get back to us being more of a toughness type game and a little bit less on the tiki-tack fouls type things.

8. Do you have any secret talents?

David: No, none whatsoever at all.

9. What emoji best describes your coaching style?

David: I think my guys would say whatever that one with the smoke and ears. I would think that would be the one that they would say. I'm not a big emoji user, okay? But I would say that would be the one, the intensity, smoke, fired up, always ready to go would be, I think, my emoji.

10. Which fellow coach would you choose to be stranded on a deserted island with and why?

David: Honestly, I wouldn't do that to any of the coaches. I would be like Cast Away. Just take me and a basketball out there. I'll just be alone, nice and quiet, and peaceful. Nobody wants to be stuck on an island with a crazy dude. And that's exactly what I am. So I wouldn't do that to any of my coworkers.
