DANVILLE, Va. – Averett University women's soccer lost its Saturday showdown against visiting Guilford College.
Averett (1-4-1) kept things competitive in the first half but ultimately fell short against Guilford (4-0-2) with the score 3-0 after 90 minutes of action.Â

The Cougars' conference slate kicks off on Wednesday at 5 p.m. as Averett hosts Roanoke College for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference clash.
