Women’s tennis wins more flight titles to wrap up Methodist Fall Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Averett University women's tennis capped off a stellar weekend of action at the Methodist University Fall Invitational on Saturday at the Gene Clayton Tennis Center, winning three singles flight titles as a team. 

Siddhi Khot, Sunna Maass and Mirte Post claimed wins in their respective draws with 3-0 records, with the latter two defeating their fellow Cougar teammates in the process.

As a team, Averett won 13 matches today.

The Cougars take to tennis action next on Wednesday, Sept. 24, battling Southern Virginia University in a scrimmage. Start time is set for 3:30 p.m.
