Averett at a Glance: Averett drew in a hard-fought 1-1 contest at William Peace last Sunday. Daniel Sierra's early penalty make was cancelled out midway into the second period, but goalkeeper Anibal Lopez kept the score from changing, ending up with a career-high seven saves. 
Pfeiffer at a Glance: The Falcons opened up their season, victorious at Guilford College last Friday, 2-1. Pfeiffer's two-goal lead proved too much for the Quakers to overcome, as Wesley Hooker's 59th minute goal was enough to help the away team prevail. Seth Limbert stopped three shots across the contest.
