The Series: Washington and Lee lead the series 7-2, with five straight wins. The Generals dispatched the Cougars 61-21 in Danville last November.
Averett at a Glance: Before its scheduled bye week, Averett dispatched visiting Gallaudet 55-19 on Family Weekend. The Cougars finished with 544 yards of total offense, while junior running back Debvrin Smith ran for 124 yards and a touchdown. Freshman wideout Tre'Sean Suber capped off a stellar afternoon with four receptions, two of which were scores, for 141 yards. Junior defensive back Jeremiah Marks made program history as the first three-interceptor in a single game, and was named both the ODAC defensive player of the week and to the D3football.com Team of the Week.
Washington and Lee at a Glance: The Generals lost on the road, 43-13 to No. 14 Salisbury on Sept. 19, hitherto to their off week. Ryan Clemens led the visitors' backfield with 80 yards and a touchdown. Teddy Sparrow had four catches for 65 yards.
