Averett Athletics announces schedule update for baseball and softball due to rain

DANVILLE, Va. -- Due to inclement weather expected to approach the local area, Averett University Athletics announced that its baseball game and softball doubleheader will not be played today.

Baseball's single game versus Muskingum University at 1 p.m. has been canceled, while softball's doubleheader at 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. against Methodist University has been postponed, with a future date to be announced.
