Men's volleyball drops conference match to Virginia Wesleyan

DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University men's volleyball hosted Virginia Wesleyan University for an ODAC match on Saturday, where the Cougars fell in straight sets.

The Cougars (5-17, 0-10 ODAC) fell to the Marlins (18-7, 7-5 ODAC) by scores of 25-13, 25-22 and 25-18.

Sophomore Liam Audrain led with 12 kills and freshman setter Luke Brown had 19 assists for the Cougars' offense. 

On the defense, Brown added one solo block and seven digs, while Adrian had five. 

Averett hosts Randolph College on Wednesday for a conference match at 6 p.m.
