DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University men's volleyball dropped a conference and non-conference match to Randolph-Macon College on Wednesday during a home doubleheader.Â
The Yellow Jackets (17-3, 6-0 ODAC) took Game 1 over the Cougars (3-10, 0-5 ODAC) with scores of 25-14, 25-13 and 25-12.Â
Sophomore
Yerai Collazo led Game 1 with seven kills, while fellow sophomore
Liam Audrain had four. Freshman setter
Luke Brown contributed 14 assists.Â
On the defense, Audrain and Collazo added six and four digs respectively.Â
In their second match of the day, the Cougars fell to the Yellow Jackets with scores of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-22.Â
Collazo added 15 more kills for Averett, while Brown tacked on 26 assists.Â
Audrain added eight digs for the defense.Â
The Cougars host St. John Fisher University and Regent University for a home tri-match on Friday beginning at 4 p.m.Â
