DANVILLE, Va. – Averett University men's lacrosse dropped its home finale, 22-3, to Hampden-Sydney College on Wednesday evening at Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium.
Hampden-Sydney (9-8, 7-3 ODAC) shot out to an 11-goal advantage in the first period, as the Tigers maintained their offensive consistency throughout. Averett (1-14, 1-8 ODAC) avoided the shutout with a trio of goals, all from different players. The likes of senior
