BRIDGEWATER, Va. – Averett University men's lacrosse were bested at Bridgewater College, 17-6, on Saturday afternoon.
Averett (0-11, 0-5 ODAC) went on top first through junior
Zac Coleman, but Bridgewater (9-4, 3-3 ODAC) netted the next four goals in succession to lead by three at the turn of the quarters.
A five-goal quarter from the Eagles extended their advantage to 9-1 by halftime.
Bridgewater scored seven more in the third, but freshman

Matthew Clark had a Cougar-high four ground balls. The aforementioned Habick had two caused turnovers.

Robbie Isenhour reached the 20-save threshold for the first time this season.
