Dr. Ernest E. Pegram is an Assistant Professor of Economics. He serves as the Faculty Athletic Mentor for both baseball and men's golf.
Before becoming a full-time faculty member at Averett University Danville Campus, Dr. Pegram was the Program Coordinator for Experiential Education (Clinical Programs) at the Georgetown University Law Center and Adjunct Faculty at the Averett University Quantico Marine Base Campus where he taught advanced managerial economics.
Dr. Pegram completed his Doctor of Management Degree from the University of Maryland University College. He completed masters’ degrees in international affairs and government with a focus on international economics and international law at Georgetown University. Dr. Pegram completed a bachelor of science degree in economics from George Mason University.
In his free time, Dr. Pegram likes cycling and playing golf.
