Landon Hendrix joined Averett University as a graduate assistant in the athletic communications office in July of 2022.
Hendrix came to Averett after serving as an intern for Longwood University Athletics. During his time at Longwood, he wrote post-game recaps and statted for a variety of sports.
Coming from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Hendrix graduated from Longwood with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a concentration in public relations in the spring of 2022. He is pursuing his master’s in business administration with a concentration in leadership at Averett.
Hendrix is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
