Brooke Wetzel joined the Averett University golf program as an assistant coach for the men and women in June 2021.
Wetzel played collegiately for four seasons at NAIA Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, from 2017-21. During her senior season, she helped Southeastern finish ranked No. 4 in the final NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll after the Fire finished as runner-up in the conference tournament. Wetzel played in five tournaments as a senior, finishing with top-20 finishes in four of those tournaments.
In addition to playing golf, Wetzel has worked with the Special Olympic golf team of Osecola County as a unified partner and coach.
A native of St. Cloud, Florida, Wetzel earned her bachelor's of science in business marketing from Southeastern in 2021.
