Angela McNeely

Angela McNeely became a member of the Averett University Athletic Training Department faculty in July 2017 after serving as an assistant athletic trainer since July 2014. She also serves as the faculty athletic mentor for the men's soccer team.

A native of Danville, McNeely came to Averett with a wealth of experience in athletic training at the collegiate and high school level. In the spring of 2014, she served as an athletic training student with the Shenandoah University men’s basketball and baseball teams. Prior to that, McNeely was a student athletic trainer with the University of Richmond football team and several high schools in the Winchester, Va., area.

McNeely received her master’s of science degree in athletic training from Shenandoah in May 2014. She completed her bachelor’s of science degree in kinesiology and psychology from Shenandoah in 2012.
