Enda Crehan joined the Averett men's soccer program as an assistant men's soccer coach in Spring 2009. Crehan has assisted head coach Ed Goodhines with recruiting and training, which helped the Cougars increase their win total by nine games in 2009.
Prior to his arrival at Averett, Crehan was the assistant coach and interim head coach at Cactus Shadow High School in Scottsdale, Ariz. He also served as the Director of Recreation Program Coaching for the Desert Elite Soccer Club in Phoenix and helped Major League Soccer conduct camps on the West Coast.
The Galway, Ireland, native played at Post University in Waterbury, Conn., from 2005-2007 and was an All-Academic Central Athletic Collegiate Conference player. He graduated with a degree in International Business and Marketing. Before attending Post, he played one season at Southhampton College of Long Island University.
In Ireland, Crehan also played on the Connaught U17 Team in 2002 and on Mervue United in the National U21 League in 2003.
Crehan holds an NSCAA National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and a Football Association of Ireland Diploma.
In addition to his coaching duties at Averett, Crehan was hired in July 2009 as the Director of Coaching for the Piedmont Youth Soccer League in Martinsville, Va.
Crehan is also currently pursuing his MBA with a Leadership concentration from Averett. He resides with his wife Tanya in Danville.
