Meghan Mauzy joined the Averett University women's soccer program as an assistant coach in July 2017.
Mauzy played four seasons of collegiate soccer, including her final three at Division II Mississippi College. Mauzy earned Gulf South Conference honor role all three years in the classroom and was a starting midfielder on the field. Mauzy was a team captain during her senior season and also served on her school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). She began her playing career at Eastern Florida State College.
Mauzy gained coaching experience as a head coach of a youth soccer club team, an assistant coach at Berkshire Soccer Academy during the summer of 2016 and through an internship with the women's soccer program at Mississippi College.
A native of Titusville, Florida, Mauzy earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology (sports management) from Mississippi College in May 2017. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in business administration from Averett.
