Caleb Pitcher

Caleb Pitcher joined the Averett University volleyball program as an assistant coach in July 2019.

A native of Mason, Ohio, Pitcher played both club indoor volleyball and club beach volleyball at Liberty University. He also competed in a variety of other tournaments, including the inaugural Collegiate Pan-American games in the summer of 2018, where he served as the captain for the U.S. men's volleyball team. Growing up, Pitcher also played baseball and ice hockey.

In addition to his playing career, Pitcher served as a head coach for Timberlake Volleyball club, where he coached the 16U national team from December 2018 to June 2019. He was also an assistant coach for the varsity volleyball team at Timberlake Christian School from August 2018 to June 2019, where he helped guide the team to a 28-2 record and garnered a tournament championship, regional championship and state championship.

Pitcher graduated from Liberty with a bachelor's degree in exercise science with a focus in pre-medicine in May 2018. He is pursuing his master's of business administration from Averett.
