FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Averett University women's soccer freshman Skye Gunn was selected as the USA South Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday.

Gunn, a foward from Delray Beach, Florida, tallied two goals, including the eventual game-winner in a 5-1 victory over USA South foe William Peace University on Oct. 28 in the team's only regular season contest last week. Gunn scored the second goal of the match in the 66th minute then notched an insurance score in the 73rd minute.
