Averett (3-3, 2-2 USA South) after a 12-day break came out of the gate strong in doubles play. Freshman

Alexander Terentiev picked up an 8-4 victory in the No. 1 doubles spot, while sophomore
Nicolas Quevedo and freshman
Carlos Lora scored an 8-0 defeat over the Pride's Justin Kimball and Ian Weiner in the No. 2 doubles contest.
The Cougars picked up four victories in singles play, starting with Wright's 6-2, 6-0 victory in No. 2 singles play. Terentiev followed with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Greensboro's Kyle Gatti, and Lora won 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 4 singles match. Freshman
Rustam Aliev rounded out the afternoon for Averett with a 6-0, 6-2 win in the No. 5 singles spot.
Averett returns to action on March 27 when it travels to West Point, Georgia, to battle Point University at 1 p.m.
