Alexander Terentiev beat Taylor Napier 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 1 singles spot, and freshman
James Wright topped Garrett Freese 6-4, 6-1 to claim the victory in the No. 2 singles match. Sophomore
Nicolas Quevedo followed with a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 3 singles game, and freshman
Carlos Lora kept the Cougars' winning-streak rolling with a 6-2, 6-4 victory in the No. 4 singles contest. Freshman
Rustam Aliev defeated William Sharp 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 5 singles battle.
Averett (4-6, 3-4 USA South) cruised in doubles play as well. Wright and Quevedo scored an 8-6 win in No. 1 doubles play, and Terentiev and Lora cruised in the No. 2 doubles match, recording an 8-2 win.
The Cougars return to action on Saturday when they travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, to take on William Peace University in conference action at 1 p.m.
