Averett (9-2, 5-2 USA South) picked up a 2-1 victory in doubles action to take an early edge heading into singles play. Freshman
Abdugani Ganiev snagged an 8-1 win in No.2 doubles action to help the Cougars bounce back from their only loss of the afternoon. Sophomore

Alfonso Jimenez lifted Averett to a win in No. 3 doubles action.
In singles action, Averett swept LaGrange (5-4, 3-3 USA South) in six straight matches to dominate the Panthers. Freshman
Oliver Lindqvist served up a 7-5, 6-1 defeat to Henrique Sizenando in No. 1 singles play and junior
Nicolas Quevedo continued the Cougars winning ways with a 7-6, 1-6, 6-1 win in No. 2 singles action. Sophomore
James Wright was victorious 6-0, 6-3 in the No. 3 singles match, while Ganiev blanked Zachary Tyner 6-0, 6-0 in No. 4 singles play. Additionally, sophomore
Carlos Lora kept Drew Cantrell off the scoreboard on his way to a 6-0, 3-0 victory. Freshman
Ariel Prieto rounded out the Cougars' scorecard with a 6-1, 6-2 win in No. 6 singles play.
Averett swings back into action when it travels to Durham, North Carolina, to battle N.C. Central University on April 1 at 1 p.m.
