GREENSBORO, N.C. — Averett University men's tennis dominated Greensboro College for an 8-1 conference victory Monday.
 
Averett (7-4, 3-2 USA South) captured wins two wins in doubles, including an 8-0 victory by senior Carlos Lora and freshman Trevor Ramagos over Ryan Mule and Jared Heller at the No. 2 spot. Freshman Alvaro Jimenez and sophomore Jon Smith won 8-1 at No. 3.
 
Junior Abdugani Ganiev set the tome with a win at the No.1 spot in singles play. Lora, Ramagos, Smith, Jimenez, and freshman Simon Levinsson each followed with a win of their own.
 
Greensboro (1-10, 1-8 USA South) won the first set in doubles play.
 
Averett returns to the courts at home on April 2, to face Southern Virginia University at 3:30 in non-conference play.
