DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) elected new officers for 2021.

The following student-athletes, including several returning officers, were elected to positions:

President: Zamyiah Mangum, volleyball/softball
Vice President: Allison Kelley, cheerleading
Secretary: Morgann Dills, women's soccer
Treasurer: Isaiah Sharper, football
Public Relations: Will Caviness, football/baseball
Community Service: Conner Brown, men's soccer
Past Officer (spring only): Colton Dutchess, men's soccer
Past Officer (spring only): Will Merritt, men's wrestling/lacrosse
