The Series: The Cougars are 4-4 all-time against Pfeiffer. Averett had won four of the last five meetings, including an 86-71 win on the road this season on Feb. 17, before falling in the home finale to the Falcons, 75-66, on Feb. 24. The two teams have never faced off in postseason play.
