Women's basketball's Lunsford selected to VaSID All-State Second Team

WINCHESTER, Va. — Averett University women's basketball junior Camryn Lunsford was voted to the 2020-21 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State Second Team, which was announced Thursday.

Lunsford, a guard from Apex, North Carolina, averaged a team-high 16.3 points per game with 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.0 steals in 12 games this season for Averett. She earned USA South All-Conference East Division First Team honors while also being named USA South Player of the Week on Feb. 1. Lunsford also earned Averett's Junior Female Athlete of the Year honor at Night of Champions on Monday.
