Men's tennis falls at No. 20 Mary Washington

Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, VA. — The Averett University men's tennis team fell 8-1 against the University of Mary Washington Sunday afternoon.

Averett (3-3) saw its only win on the day come from freshman Martinho Goncalves in the No. 5 singles slot winning 7-6, and 6-4.

Mary Washington (5-2) took all three doubles matches as well.

The Cougars look to bounce back at Guilford College, Tuesday at 3 p.m.
