DANVILLE, Va. — The Averett University women's tennis program notched its first conference victory of the year 9-0 over William Peace University on Saturday afternoon at the Averett Tennis Courts.
Averett rolled winning every singles match in straight sets. At No. 1 singles, freshman
Maxence Lippens won the first singles match of the day 6-1, 6-0. Senior
Inka Zeilstra earned 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles while sophomore
Paula Ryhsen won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.

Linnea Sjostrom Krook also all picked up wins for the Cougars in singles action.
Averett also dominated doubles taking every match 8-0.
The Cougars are back in action when they travel to Sweet Briar College tomorrow at 2 p.m.
