DANVILLE, Va. — The Averett University men's lacrosse program fell 17-5 against William Peace University on Wednesday afternoon on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium.
Averett (3-8, 0-5 USA South) fell down 5-0 to William Peace (6-3, 3-1 USA South)
in the first quarter. Through the second and third quarter the Pacers only out scored Averett 6-5 before winning the final quarter of play 6-0.
The Cougars were led by sophomore Connor Taff who tallied two goals while also adding an assist.
The Cougars are back in action Saturday when they travel to Methodist University at 5 p.m.
