DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University football head coach Patrick Henry announced the addition of Tyler Wills as an assistant coach with the program. Wills will coach the running backs for the Cougars.

Wills played four seasons at Emory & Henry College from 2018-21 as an offensive lineman and long snapper. While at Emory & Henry, he was a National Hampshire Honors Society All-American. He also served as a student coach during the 2021 season, overseeing the long snappers and kickers while assisting on both sides of the ball and breaking down practice films.

A native of Rochelle, Virginia, Wills earned his Bachelor of Arts in health and human performance from Emory & Henry in spring 2022. He is pursuing his master's degree from Averett.
