Women's soccer falls to Greensboro on Senior Day

DANVILLE, Va. - The Averett University women's soccer team fell to Greensboro College 1-0 at home on Sunday.

Both teams would go into halftime scoreless. While the Cougars would outshoot the Pride 6-0 at halftime.

Greensboro would net their game-winning goal in the 66th minute of play.

Averett would outshoot Greensboro in the match 13-5.

The Cougars are back in action next Saturday at home with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m.
