SALEM, Va.— Averett University men's and women's cross country completed the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday afternoon.
On the men's side, sophomore
Carter Erickson had the fastest time for the Cougars, recording a time of 29:49.50 in the 8k event.
Senior
Kinkade Huggins crossed the finish line at the 35:13.10 mark. Freshman
Justin Schmied completed the race at 36:32.40. Freshman
Azael Quintero wrapped up the competition at the 36:32.40 mark. At 38:22.80, sophomore
Chris Brown crossed the finish line.
On the women's side, freshman
Gabrielle Griffin was the first to cross the finish line for the Cougars with a time of 38:22.80. Sophomore
Hannah Zabik completed the race at the 29:16.70 mark. At 33:39.60, sophomore
Kailey Gates completed the race. Freshman
Carlota Gonzalez managed to record a time of 35:39.80. Sophomore
Cassidy Lewis recorded a 36:45.00 time.
