DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University men's basketball sophomore Jamison Graves earned national recognition when he was selected to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week on Tuesday.

Graves also earned Old Dominion Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Graves, a native of Danville, Virginia, scored a career-high 36 points in Averett's 80-65 win over then-No. 10 Christopher Newport University on Nov. 25. Graves broke the program's single-game record for made 3-point percentage with a 7-for-8 effort from beyond the arc. He also had three rebounds, two assists and a steal in the Cougars' second win this season over a top-25 team.

Averett (5-0) is currently receiving 31 votes in the D3hoops.com poll, the fifth-most votes for a team not in the top 25.
