NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Averett University men's tennis concluded its remaining rounds of singles and doubles matches at the Christopher Newport University (CNU) Invitational throughout Sunday. Similar to Saturday, the team won a collective 12 matches across the two formats.
Freshman
Rafael Jodas continued his perfect start to his collegiate career in singles, winning another title in Flight D, defeating Hovanness Madanyan of Virginia Wesleyan University to cap off a quality weekend. He continued his strong results into doubles, teaming up with
Sam Egui to win the Flight B title.
One more doubles title was claimed by a Cougar duo, as
Martin Guyot and
Prabjeet Chandhok won in Flight C.
