DANVILLE, Va. — Fans, friends, and family gathered in the Grant Center on Saturday to celebrate Senior Day with a non-conference match against Warren Wilson College.

The Cougars (4-13, 1-6 ODAC) swept the Owls (2-15, 0-3 C2C) with scores of 25-12, 25-17 and 25-14.

Prior to the match, Averett honored its 2025 senior class of Rachel Green, Kadence Woodlief, Ella Jabaley, Nina Moore and Dayton Moore. 

Mounce led the Cougars with seven kills and a hitting percentage of .462. Green, Nina Moore and junior Allie Wilkerson each had six kills a piece. Dayton Moore had 12 assists, while fellow setter sophomore Megan Litman had nine. 

On defense, sophomore libero Kyleigh Rains had ten digs, while Woodlief and Jabaley had eight each. 

Averett travels to Lynchburg, Virginia for a conference match against the University of Lynchburg Wednesday at 5 p.m.
