FOREST, Va. — Averett University men's tennis sophomores Lucas Fiandra and Rafael Jodas were selected as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's Doubles Team of the Week on Tuesday.

The duo won two matches last weekend at the Christopher Newport University Invitational held Sept. 26-27. On Friday, Fiandra and Jodas took down the Captains' Rainer Christiansen and Nathan Russell, 7-6 (5). The following afternoon, the sophomores defeated Shenandoah University's Artem Babaiev and Neal Love, 6-4.

Fiandra and Jodas join fellow doubles tandem Alex Rudy and Satwik Kollepalli, and Roger Pamies Petit from previous fall winners from the conference. Rudy and Kollepalli were named the ODAC Doubles Team of the Week on Sept. 8, while Pamies Petit earned ODAC Singles Player of the Week honors on Sept. 2.
