FOREST, Va. — Averett University men's tennis junior Alex Rudy and sophomore Satwik Kollepalli were selected as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's Doubles Team of the Week on Monday.
 
Rudy and Kollepalli combined to go 2-1 over the week at the Methodist University Fall Invitational held Sept. 5-6. In their Flight 2 doubles action, Rudy and Kollepalli topped Division II Barton College's Fredrik Foss and Filip Forsberg, 6-1. In the semifinals, they beat Guilford College's Andres Mercedes and Emmanuel Oye 6-3. The Cougars' tandem fell 6-4 to Division II University of Mount Olive's Joao Matias Sonaglia and Kristoffer Dalbak in the championship match.

Rudy and Kollepalli join sophomore Roger Pamies Petit as early season recipients of weekly awards from the conference. Pamies Petit was named the ODAC Singles Player of the Week on Sept. 2.
