SALEM, Va. – The Averett University men's lacrosse squad lost 29-0 in its first ODAC game of 2025-26 at Roanoke College [RV] on Wednesday night.
Roanoke's (2-0, 1-0 ODAC) high-octane offense got going with nine goals in the first period, and held control for the entirety of the contest. Averett (0-2, 0-1 ODAC) had three players record two ground balls on the night, with
Zac Coleman,
Brayden Smokovitz, and
Angel Pascual Roman on the scoops.
Deven Perry had a caused turnover.
Robbie Isenhour recorded 13 saves between the posts. In relief time, transfer junior
Tristan Gallovich got his first taste for the Cougars, with three stops of his own.
Averett continues trekking on the road, with a stop at Greensboro College next on Saturday, Feb. 21. Start time is set for 12 p.m.
