Averett will look to rebound from a three-game losing streak in its home game against Methodist University on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Grant Center.
The Cougars (7-5, 3-3 USA South) are coming off a 55-51 loss at Peace on Monday. Methodist (5-7, 3-2 USA South) was scheduled to play at Meredith on Monday, but that game was postponed due to bad weather. The Monarchs lost their last contest to Ferrum College by a score of 71-64.
Methodist, which is 0-3 on the road this season, holds a 48-8 advantage in the series with Averett. However, the two teams have split their regular season series the last two years.
