DANVILLE, Va. — Defending conference champion N.C. Wesleyan College defeated the Averett University men's tennis team 9-0 in conference action on Sunday at the Averett Tennis Courts.
 
In the No. 2 spot, sophomore Nicolas Quevedo battled with N.C. Wesleyan's Sebastian Sikh but couldn't manage to pull out the win, falling 6-4, 6-2.
 
Averett (2-2, 1-1) continues conference play against Methodist University on Friday at 1 p.m. on the Averett Tennis Courts.
