Alex Donnelly earned a spot on the 2025 Academic All-District Team as selected by the College Sports Communicators.

Mukkaladyil, a native of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, had one of the best individual performances by a Cougar in program history when he went 20-5 in singles play this season while mostly competing at No. 2 singles. He also went a combined 14-10 in doubles, mainly at the No. 1 spot while helping No. 33 Averett win the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament championship, earn the program's first NCAA Tournament berth in 25 years and win a match in the NCAA First Round. He also was named Averett's Senior Male Athlete of the Year and earned the Senior Male GPA Award at Night of Champions.

Donnelly, a native of Naas, Ireland, went 5-4 in singles and was 12-7 in doubles before missing the end of the season due to injury. He earned one of the Junior Male GPA Awards at Night of Champions.
