DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University men's tennis sophomore Roger Pamies Petit earned the season's first Old Dominion Athletic Conference Singles Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
 
Pamies Petit, a native of Reus, Spain, opened his fall slate in stride at the Belmont Abbey College Invitiational. There, Pamies Petit won five out of six matches versus various cross-divisional opponents, including four straight against hosts Belmont Abbey.
 
Pamies Petit became just the second men's tennis player to earn ODAC Player of the Week honors, joining Jayden Mukkaladyil '25 was selected in February 2025.
