BELMONT, N.C. – No. 57 Averett University men's tennis lost a non-conference match, 4-3, at Division-II Belmont Abbey College on Tuesday afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center.
Belmont Abbey (19-16) took two of three doubles sets for the first dual point against Averett (7-7). In singles the Crusaders split singles with the Cougars, but its point from earlier locked up the win for the home side.

Satwik Kollepalli defeated the Crusaders' Jonas Berglund, 6-3, 6-1. Senior
Sam Egui picked up a win at the sixth slot versus William Wallis, 6-3, 6-3. The Cougars' last point of the day came from sophomore
Lucas Fiandra, as he defeated Lorenzo Romero in three sets, 6-7 (5), 6-3, 1-0 (10-8).
Averett concludes its regular season at Division-II Shaw University on Sunday, Apr. 19. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
