How Averett helped me:
"I think playing a sport at any sort of highly competitive level teaches you a lot of things. For myself and my time at Averett, I learned how to persevere, work hard to accomplish my goals, even when met with huge obstacles, and thanks to our large amount of international players, how to interact with other cultures.  I learned a lot about football (soccer) and about different ways of thinking from my teammates!"
