How Averett helped me:
"Being a student athlete at Averett taught me many things that have helped me be successful in life. The experience taught me to give 100 percent in everything I do no matter how big or small, to have discipline to make the best decisions no matter what I face, and to do what I love no matter what people say. If it wasn't for Averett athletics, I do not believe I would be nearly as comfortable and confident to do what is needed every day."
