How Averett helped me:
"Sports at Averett taught me character, how to win and loose as a team or individual and shows you what it’s like to have a second family on and off the field. My teammates were not just friends, they were family, a tight knitted group, everyone had different views and lessons to teach each other. We would butt heads from time-to-time, but at the end of the day everyone was always supporting one another."
