How Averett helped me:
"Playing volleyball at Averett taught me hard work and discipline. Coach Miller was demanding, but encouraging and you always had to earn your spot and playing time. The transformation I made as a person from freshman year to senior was great! I learned how to be a good leader and to not let others decide my path or my effort. It was a great experience and something I use in my every day life."
