Biography

How Averett helped me:
"As a volleyball player you are nothing without your teammates. Playing with Averett showed me what great teammates are. We all pushed each other, constantly cheered each other on, and wanted nothing but success for each other on and off the court. As a high school art teacher I try to bring those same things into my classroom. I cheer on my students, try to build their confidence, and work together with them as a teammate to help them succeed. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with so many amazing people who have helped make me a better friend, teacher, and person."
