Averett University Athletics

Dr. Rebecca Clark served as an instructor and a supporter at Averett. She was a founding member of the Cougar Club and the group's secretary from 1998-2005. She served as a mentor to Averett student-athletes in addition to her role as the co-chair of Averett's Sociology Department.

Clark also coached Averett's cheerleading squad from 1991-2002 and led the team to multiple top-20 national finishes.

Clark was inducted into the Averett University Cougar Club Hall of Fame on Oct. 29, 2005.
